About & docs
What is Courrt?
Courrt is the fastest way to research Indian case law. Search across ~17.9 million High Court and ~43,500 Supreme Court judgments — by keyword and by meaning — filter to exactly what you need, and read the verbatim judgment with a link to the official PDF. Every result traces back to the source; nothing is invented.
The corpus covers Indian Supreme Court (~43,500) and High Court (~17.9 million) judgments — metadata for all, with verbatim full text extracted from the official PDFs — plus ~36,000 Indian statutory documents (Acts, Rules, Notifications; Central and all States).
Fidelity is the point. Judgment text is extracted verbatim from the source PDF; when a page is scanned or not yet machine-readable, Courrt says so and links to the original rather than guess. Editorial enrichment (catchwords, case type, area of law) is labelled as such and never overrides the court's own words.

Troubleshooting & support
- The connector won't add. Confirm the URL is exactly
https://mcp.courrt.com/mcpand that your plan/admin allows custom connectors. No sign-in is required. - A judgment's text is missing. Some older PDFs are scanned and not yet machine-readable; the tools flag this and return the source link so you can open the official PDF directly.
- A citation didn't resolve. Try the neutral citation (e.g.
2014 INSC 514) or the parties and year; citation coverage varies by reporter.
